Hello, I’m Mark – a UX Designer and Product Owner based in Cambridge, UK.
I help software teams build the right products by focusing on user experience, technical feasibility and business impact.
I carved out my first UX role in a company that had never had one, advocating for the user while developing my own skills along the way.
Today, as both a UX Designer and Product Owner, I bridge the gap between design and strategy – validating ideas before a single line of code is written, refining priorities and ensuring that products are intuitive, accessible and aligned with user needs.
Regardless of job title, my passion is the same: creating better, more usable products that truly serve the people who use them.

Not every product needs to be torn down and rebuilt.
A lot of great products just need structure, clarity, and a focus on users — especially those that have grown over time without a formal product or UX lead.
I’m particularly passionate about helping teams with existing products (often with big backlogs and UX created by developers) get back on track.
Through backlog audits, UX improvements, and pragmatic product strategy, I help teams create momentum without losing what already works.
